Your chance to meet the Blossoms… here in Stopford

Following the release of their new album Songs from the Wedding Cake, Blossoms are set to take over HMV Merseyway, where they’ll be meeting fans and signing copies of the album.

The event will take place on Wednesday 7 October from 4.30pm and will be ticketed, with fans able to secure guaranteed access by pre-ordering the album through the HMV website.

This is the sixth album from the Stockport-born indie band, whose roots continue to have a strong influence on their music, including their recent hit single ‘Should’ve Got the 192’, which takes its name from a Stockport bus route.

The album itself takes its name from Stockport Town Hall, affectionately known by Stopfordians as ‘The Wedding Cake’ – the very place where frontman Tom Ogden got married in 2021.

This is one of only two HMV signing events, with the other taking place in Manchester at 12.30pm on 7 October.
