The Underbanks’ Latest Arrival – And Trust Us, You’ll Want to Check It Out

July 2nd 2026

Stop dilly-dallying and get yourself to Stockport’s amazing new ‘Dilly Deli!’ (Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves). No, but seriously, this place is spot on.

Stockport has a knack for creating cool spaces that wear a few different hats, and Dilly Deli on Little Underbank is no exception to that rule. This multi-purpose space has taken centre stage beneath the arches, with a striking indigo-blue frontage that you can’t possibly miss.

Whilst the downstairs is only a small space, they make good use of it. On the left as you walk in is a huge cabinet, and a huge fridge stocked to the brim with a well-rounded selection of vibrant wines. The best rich reds, crisp whites and fruity rosés have been transported from all over Europe onto these shelves.

And the deli fridge is just phenomenal. It’s meats… it’s cheeses… and in the words of Bob Mortimer, don’t they always please? You’ve got Murcia al Vino, Mont d’Or, Cornish Yarg, tubs of burratina, the list goes on. To compliment these creamy delights are large chunks of well-seasoned meats, from chorizos and Serrano ham, to classic French Pate on Croute.

But it’s not just a deli, it’s also a cool little bar where you can grab a coffee and an artisan sandwich, or some tapas-style dishes and a wine if you’re feeling a bit more sophisticated. Although the shop looks small from the outside, they have plenty of seating upstairs and out the front for when the weather is nice. Go give it a try.
