Put a spring back into your step with Stockport’s roster of March events

February 27th 2026

Hurrah, the evenings are finally getting lighter, and the long winter slump is fading away. March is the month of new life and blooming daffodils, also including the legendary St Patrick’s Day celebrations, where the Guinness flows and the fiestas carry on well into the night.

Make the most of your renewed energy (and that welcome boost of vitamin D) by filling your calendar with all the exciting events and activities Stockport has to offer this month.

Single’s Games Night – 5th March

Calling all single ladies and gents! The dreaded February Valentine’s Day hype is finally over, and it’s time to stop dwelling on past relationships. Instead, treat yourself to a night at Loft Social. Swap the endless, awkward Tinder conversations for real-life chats, real chemistry, and the chance to make sure they’re actually normal before agreeing to that first date.

You can break the ice over a game of disco curling, spark a little friendly rivalry with pétanque or shuffleboard, and even get closer as you team up to take aim with an archer’s bow.
