‘Roll’ into the weekend celebrating Whitney – 13 February

Candlelight concerts are back and this time it’s Whitney! Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s, Galentine’s or you’re just a proud Mary and want to dance with somebody, this one is for you.

Holy Diver welcomes American Rock Royalty with Motley Crue and Misfits – 17 and 28 February

Heavy metal fans, my goodness are you in for a treat. Stockport will be hosting, not one, but two American metal legends throughout the month of February. One of these is Motley Crue frontman John Corabi and his all-star group consisting of members of the Ace Frehley band, Winger, Tesla, and Whitesnake.

Then, not even a week later, the venue will host horror punk legend, Michael Graves, the lead singer of cult classic group, Misfits. He is touring with his latest group, the American Monster Band, on the UK leg of their Sticks and Stones tour. 

Get ready for a mega blast from the past, as these rock legends treat your ears to a series of sonic riffs, shredding guitar solos and thunderous drumbeats.

Outside the Box Comedy Club – 21st February

If metal isn’t your thing, this one might be. Outside the Box Comedy Club is bringing Stockport a special treat with four different acts promised to have you and your pals in stitches. If it’s ridiculous impressions that get you going, Ben Silver is your man, or maybe you’d prefer to hear Comedy Central’s Stephen Bailey making cracks at the latest celeb gossip, or even Eli Hart’s preposterous take on the mundanity of life? Each comedian offers a completely different perspective, so disappointment is not on the menu.

Guildhall, Vintage & Collectors Fair – 22nd February

As much as we all love a good walk and pub lunch on a Sunday, sometimes it’s necessary to shake things up a bit. Stockport is well loved for its array of indie traders and vintage connoisseurs, and with approximately 70 traders at this event, you’re guaranteed to discover some great bargains. Think of it as a Sunday adventure where you can dig through racks, uncover hidden gems and maybe even find something that makes your mates jealous. It’s the perfect way to swap the usual pint-and-pub routine for a bit of bargain-hunting.

Scrapbook Night – 25th February 

Being able to flick through your camera roll, reminiscing on old pictures is great and all, but nothing beats the excitement of flicking through a good old-fashioned scrapbook, with physical images, playful, layered backgrounds and random bits of memorabilia glued to the page. Take a chance to unwind, get creative and build your own nostalgic memory book that you will smile back on for years to come.
